Grade Code for Junior Kindergarten
| Marci Klinkefus | 8/28/09 | What is the appropriate grade code for children in Junior Kindergarten? Should they be PK or 00? In our district Junior Kindergarten is always attended before kindergarten. If children are identified, they usually receive a Level 1 weighting. I know that PK's are supposed to be weighted Level 2 or 3. Therefore, I'm not sure which grade code would be most appropriate. Please advise. |
