IFSP/IEP outcomes summary data entry procedures

Sandy Lawry

3/25/11

IFSP/IEP outcomes summary data entry procedures lists 5 cases for the target population for EC Outcomes. It does not list an IFSP child who has been found ineligible for services. My understanding from my data entry IFSP person is that the staff must complete the ECO on an initial IFSP evaluation. They are giving her a hard copy of that data. So is that entered into IMS?

No, the ECO is for children with an IFSP, who have or will be receiving Early ACCESS services.  Therefore, a child determined ineligible for services at the time of the initial evaluation would not be a child in which we would report ECO data.  However, if it is a child who has been receiving Early ACCESS services and at a review meeting it is determined that the child is no longer eligible, and then the IFSP Team would need to report the ECO data upon exiting the child from Early ACCESS services.
