Iowa IDEA 2013 & Stand Alone IMS - Count Information

Staff will be able to proceed in the Iowa IDEA 2013 applications with everything like they normally do, including: intake, assigning service coordination, changing providers, transfer IFSP children, writing IFSPs as normal (even during the time that IMS can not change child related data in IMS- Oct. 28 - Dec 5). There will not be any down time for Early ACCESS staff writing IFSPs etc. in the Iowa IDEA 2013 IFSP application due to count.

IMS stand alone (where state and federal data is currently reported out for count) will be locked down as usual (meaning no child related info being updated), 'but' this will not prevent IMS staff from setting up staff with new assignments or adding new staff. This practice should be consistent state-wide. If you have questions please contact your level 6 staff at your AEA.
