Upcoming Version 6 Events

The release date for Version 6 has been set for July 1, 2009.  Here are the timelines for activities lead by the Central Processing Center:

Activity Dates
Conduct pre-alpha testing. Thursday, May 7 - Thursday, May 8
Perform alpha testing. Thursday, May 14 - Friday, May 15
Fix bugs and conduct post-alpha testing. Monday, May 18 - Friday, May 29
Allow web IEP administrators to access test site for training purposes. Monday, June 1 - on
Conduct beta testing. Monday, June 1 - Monday, June 15
Train data entry personnel on how to enter new data into IMS (e.g. Race/Ethnicity).  Note: This is the regularly scheduled meeting.   Tuesday, June 2  
Fix bugs and conduct post-beta testing. Monday, June 15 - Monday, June 29
Prepare and rollover code. Tuesday, June 30
Release Version 6. Wednesday, July 1
Release manual. Wednesday, July 15
Post manual on www.iowaidea.org. Wednesday, July 15

Train web IEP administrators via the ICN.

If you wish to have an ICN reserved for you, you will need to contact Mary Cummings at mcummings@aea10.k12.ia.us.  You are asked to provide your first and second choices of sites.
