Iowa IDEA Information (i3), Iowa’s new Special Education and Early Intervention Guidance System, will be released and ready for statewide use in August 2020. The guidance system has been collaboratively developed by the Iowa Department of Education, the nine Area Educational Agencies (AEAs), and the local districts across Iowa.
The i3 system will provide key information and resources regarding early intervention and special education services for children and learners birth to 21. I3 will be replacing the current procedures manuals for Part B and Part C, therefore those documents and supporting documents will be removed for this site. Training opportunities and materials are in development and will be released by August 1, 2020.
